Housed in the striking high-rise offices of a global investment specialist, this sophisticated office design utilises privacy smart glass from Smartglass International to create a workspace that is future-focused yet practical.

The boardroom in this modern office complex is separated from the adjacent walkway by a privacy glass partition. Not only does this provide the ultimate in privacy – it also allows the designers to make the most of the surrounding, stunning views of central London.

Those using the room can enjoy scenes overlooking the Old Bailey, which is situated close by. Alternatively, at the touch of a switch, they can transform the transparent smart glass screen into an opaque partition.

To meet the client’s need for full privacy, a dual glazed screen was selected to improve acoustic performance. With excellent dB ratings for minimal sound transfer, the partition works to separate and define the two spaces, while also creating a light and open ambience.
