May 18, 2010 – From the booth of its partner the SCHOTT Group at the 2010 Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany, SmartGlass International Ltd., a licensee of Research Frontiers Inc. SmartGlass features on popular TV show Room to Improve

On 05 May, LC SmartGlass featured on the first program in a new series of the popular RTE television series “Room to Improve”

Architect Dermot Bannon helped sisters Margaret and Jodie Burke to renovate and extend their family home with fantastic results.

The LC Smart Glass windows used in the bathroom were well received and featured as a large part of the advertising for the new TV series including being discussed on the Ray Darcy show on Today FM.

From May 18th to May 20th there will be various Smart Glass aviation prototype products on view on the SCHOTT aviation booth 5G80.

SmartGlass International has developed various prototype samples in association with SCHOTT aviation, some of which will be on view at the show.  There were various technical objectives to overcome in order to successfully manufacture these technologically advanced prototype pieces.  Branded as SCHOTT AeroSmart, these products can now be manufactured in shaped, curved, and multilayer formats creating new and innovative possibilities within aircraft interior design.
